Bridges

The Tatarna Bridge is a road bridge over the Kremasta artificial lake. It is a box girder bridge with three spans; the largest span is 196 m.

An architectural jewel and a symbolic bridge. The central pedestrian bridge of Trikala is the main connecting point of the city, uniting the trikals, making it the reference point, functioning as a point of unity.

Τhe beautiful bridge of Paleokarya was built somewhere between 1500 and 1550, behind it a 12 meter high waterfall, which continues to a lesser height 2 meters, creating a beautiful image.

Its construction was aimed at the unique, until the beginning of the 20th century, road connection between Thessaly and Epirus. Thanks to the purity of the river water activities such as swimming and fishing are permitted.

Voidomatis (also known as “Vikos River”) is a river in the prefecture of Ioannina, a tributary of Aoos. Its main springs are under the village of Vikos.
