Calypso Gorge

“Calypso” Gorge is a gorgeous gorge, one of the most beautiful in Greece, with deep clear lakes on the eastern slopes of Kissavos. It is located just above the settlement of Kokkino Nero on the coast of the prefecture of Larissa with easy access. A unique descent overlooking the Aegean Sea! The first part of the gorge has 6 rapel with the largest reaching 60 meters. The three waterfalls at the end of the gorge reach up to 70 meters in height and end up at the “Kolimbithra” where the visitor can stay and enjoy the thermal waters. The path to the gorge is beautiful through the verdant marked path that leads us to the base of the waterfall. Nearby beaches: Stomio, Platia Ammos, Kokkino Nero, Tsiligiorgos, Pigadi.
