Katafyki Cave Kythnos

Cave Katafyki is one of the most important and remarkable most sights of the island, which combines uniquely the natural and the anthropogenic element. It is located in the center of the island, at the southern end of the traditional village of Dryopida, at Fyres. It is an underground area, at an altitude of 190 meters from the sea level, which consists of a large natural cave, and artificial entrance of mines. The visitor can get there easily, through the picturesque streets of Driopida.
