Koronisia of Arta

After cruising for almost 10klm through a narrow sea path, you feel absolutely astonished when you reach this exotic green and blue secret paradise in Amvrakikos bay.

Local stories say that those small islands used to form a single piece of land. Those land streaks, as seen from above the sky, seem like strips of sand, now covered by water. The shallow and warm sea waters are perfect for the safe reproduction of over 35 species including the famous but rare, Pelecanus Crispus or Dalmatian Pelecan.
