Moni Island is opposite Perdika, just 8 minutes by boat. From the harbor of Perdika, from Easter to the end of September, there are frequent ferry crossings to the island of Moni, 3 miles from Perdika.
Moni is a beautiful island with lush vegetation without inhabitants, only deer, small horses, wild boar, peacocks, pheasants and squirrels that come close to you to feed them.
Its beaches have deep, clean waters, suitable for underwater fishing, on one side of the island, while on the other side there is a wonderfully organized sandy beach with crystal clear waters and many other places for swimming and fishing.
On the organized beach of the Moni there are 2 snack bars, electricity and telephone. In the canteens you will find coffee, soft drinks and ouzo with meze.
Most of the island is covered with pinewood. Moni island is ideal for picnics, trekking through the pine trees and climbing on top of it. Several recreational boats hang in the bays of the island in the summer.
