Paleos Panteleimonas

Paleos Panteleimonas is a village in the prefecture of Pieria. It is built at an altitude of 1100 meters on the eastern slopes of Mount Olympus. It is only 6 kilometers from the village and the beach of Neos Panteleimonas, where there are also many possibilities for accommodation, food, entertainment and tourist information, and only 43 kilometers from Katerini, in the southwest corner of Central Macedonia. In the central paved square of the village the old church of Agios Panteleimonas, the old school that has been renovated, while just outside the settlement lies the unique environmental school of the area. Walking through its narrow cobbled streets, you can admire the restored stone houses.

Palaios Panteleimonas is 400 km away from Athens and 110 km. from Thessaloniki. Through the Athens-Thessaloniki National Road, take the exit of Neos Panteleimonas and from there 5 km from the National Road, passing through Neos Panteleimon you will meet Paleos Panteleimonas.
