Romanos beach is next to the village Romanos of Messinia. It is a large beach overlooking the Ionian Sea with fine sand. In fact, there are many small beaches next to each other. Romanumos beach is visited by a lot of people during the summer months, while the largest hotel in the Mediterranean is built there. The first part of Romanos beach is organized, with sun loungers, umbrellas, beach cafe and bar. The rest of the beach is virgin and quieter and is preferred by families and those who seek tranquility. Located about 2 km north of Voidokilia beach and beyond the beautiful scenery, sandy beach and blue waters, Romanos beach is popular for the abundance of small turtles that visit the beach to lay their eggs. Romano beach is about 10 kilometers northwest of Pylos. Starting from Pylos, you pass Gialova, and after 2-3 km you turn to the village of Romanos. After passing through the village, follow the signs for the beach. Walk 2 km through olive groves and sand dunes and head to the beach and turn left to see the parking lot on the beach.
