Falasarna Beach

Falasarna beach is a bay with a deep blue sea and endless light sand, giving the water a tropical color. The area around Falasarna is enchanting and it is part of Natura Protected Areas. You can expect on the beach until the sunset, which is considered the best in Crete.

It is 59 kilometers west of Chania and 17 kilometers west of Kissamos and has been awarded in the past as the best beach of Crete and one of the ten best in Europe. If you do not have a means of transport, you can reach Falasarna by bus from Chania and Kissamos.

Falasarna Beach looks west and has a wave, but it is a surprise to windsurfers.
