Keri’s lighthouse Zakynthos

In the area of Keri on the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea there is the Keri Lighthouse. It is a 9 meter high tower built in 1925, that is built at the edge of an sleep slope of 200 roughly metres depth. The lighthouse was built to protect the ships from the rocks.Today  the lighthouse is a place where many visitors go to see the amazing sunset. Access to the lighthouse is easy by car.If you go there also you can see the Myzithres the two high rocks that are at the beginning of the caves of Keri. The Ionian Sea spreads in front of you and the scenery is magical.
