It was an observatory, obviously for the pirate’s danger in Naxos. In fact there are 2 beaches, Limanaki and Parthenos separated by a rock. The beautiful sandy beach of Mikri Vigla is a meeting point for windsurfers from all over the world. There you will find seafront taverns where you can enjoy your meal, overlooking the endless blue and the beauty of Mikri Vigla. The special thing here is that while on one beach there may be strong winds, on the other beach the visitor can enjoy his bath without any air. This beach, is, also, well-known for its small-private beaches formed behind the rocks and ideal for couples.
