Panagia Beach, Elafonisos Lakonia

The beach of Panagia has crystal clear light blue waters and sand dunes as well as the beach of Simos. On the beach of Panagia someone can enjoy a magnificent sunset as the sun sets between the islets. Above the beach is the church of Panagia. Around the church extends the village “Katonisi”. As there are many caves in the area, the local tradition considered Katonisi as the Cycladic Country and the islands of Panagia as “Cyclopeters”.
