Pythagoras cave on Samos island

Ιn the western part of Samos island in a cave on a steep slope, it is said that for a long time the mathematician Pythagoras lived and was theorizing about mathematics, music and harmony. In order to visit it, yoy have to get up 320 steps, but the view is magnificent from above. Also in the place is built Panagia Sarantakaliotissa is a church dating to the 11th century, in which remarkable frescoes have been preserved.
