Xiggia Beach Zakynthos

Xiggia Beach is located in the northeastern part of Zakynthos. Xigia (Xygia) is located in a tiny cove on the northeast coast of Zakynthos, between Alykes and Agios Nikolaos port. Is a small beach with a characteristic smell of sulfur, coming from a sulfureous source found in a cave nearby. Because the content of the waters in sulfur, the surface of the waters reveals white shaddows, that resemble  to grease.  The beach is stunning with golden sand and wonderful waters. The beach is mainly used by people suffering from leg and joint pains. There are few sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach for relaxation.
