It is for many the most beautiful country of the Cyclades, as it is built in the center of the island between small rocks. The port of Hora is Katapola, where the first Horaites (people from Hora) came and built houses and shops when the Greek State in 1832 put an end to the depredations of pirates.
The museum contains some interesting pieces excavated on the island including remnants of the Minoan civilisation
